What to know before playing
MONOPOLY GO! is Scopely’s mobile interpretation of MONOPOLY, with themed boards and interaction with other players. It is separate from Marmalade’s traditional digital board-game app. Follow the opening instructions to understand its progression before joining events or making purchases. Check account settings before changing phones, and read each offer’s conditions; installation alone does not guarantee event rewards, complete collections or unlimited access to every activity.
Check availability on your device
Open the linked Google Play listing on the phone or tablet you intend to use. Check its compatibility message, current price, age guidance, and data-safety section. Requirements and availability can vary by device and region, so use the live listing rather than an old version number to make your decision.
Install MONOPOLY GO! through Google Play
- Use the Google Play button below and check the app title and publisher.
- Read the price or purchase prompt. Choose Install, or complete the store purchase if required.
- Wait for installation to finish, then open the app. Follow its first-run instructions and review any account settings.
If the download gets stuck
Check your internet connection and available storage, close and reopen Google Play, and restart the device if needed. These are Google's basic download troubleshooting steps. If the store reports that the device is incompatible, check the listing; a different installer should not be assumed to resolve that limitation.
Update or reinstall without losing track of your account
Check for updates in Google Play under Manage apps & device. Before uninstalling, review the game's account or backup options: installing again does not by itself guarantee that local progress will return. For a paid app, use the Google account that originally purchased it.
